Zodiac driving: Safely operating small expedition vessels in a variety of marine conditions, ensuring efficient and comfortable transport for guest and crew.
Shore landings: Leading and assisting safe landings in remote areas, managing logistics, timing and environmental considerations.
Guest experience: Delivering engaging interpretation, fostering curiosity and ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed and connected to the environment throughout their journey.
Wildlife interpretation: Identifying and sharing knowledge about local marine and terrestrial wildlife in an engaging, accessible way.
Safety management: Support risk assessment, emergency preparedness and adherence to expedition safety protocols in changing field conditions.
Navigation support: Assisting with route planning, chart reading and situational awareness during vessel operations and excursions.
Environmental stewardship: Promoting responsible travel practices and minimizing human impact on sensitive ecosystems.
Public speaking & interpretation: Leading informal talks, briefings and on-deck interpretation to enhance guest understanding and experience.
