Personal Philosophy

I believe the best way to understand the world is to get out in it - preferably somewhere a little wild, a little unpredictable and always worth the effort. Whether guiding in remote places, speaking to audiences, or capturing moments through photography, I aim to turn experience into connection and curiosity into understanding. I value safety, curiosity and good storytelling in equal measure, and I think a sense of humor goes a long way when things don’t go exactly as planned (which, in the field, is most of the time).
